Light Brigade Student Ministries is beginning a new initiative called R.E.A.L.! This will be formed by a group of students seeking to positively impact their community through service. Our name stands for students who are Reaching, Engaging and Actively Loving. In essence, we are aiming to put feet to our faith. Our motivation comes from James chapter 2 where we find this message, "Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
R.E.A.L. is more than a group, it's an experience where students have the opportunity to put their faith in Jesus Christ into practice. We will be launching this new group in November 2009! If you know someone who may be in need of physical labor, food/supplies, or any other area you feel we can be of service, please let us know.
